What will next year’s State Pin look like?
Each year Utah TSA holds a contest to design what the State Pin will look like. The winning design with made into the pins that are traded at the National Convention in the summer. Put your creative design skills to the test making a design that shows a unique aspect of our State!
Rules for entering the Pin Design Contest:
- Student must be registered in a currently affiliated chapter
- Only one entry per student, no more than three entries per chapter
- Students may be from either a middle school or high school chapter
- Design must include the TSA logo, name of our State, and the year of 2026
- Design must be original work. AI generated material will be disqualified.
Rules for entering the Pin Design Contest:
- The pin size will not exceed 1.25 inches after it is made. Please take into consideration the reduction in size and understand that very small details in your design would not be seen.
- While the file size may be square, the pin itself may be any shape.
- Use solid colors, no gradients
- Line thickness must be .3mm or higher
- If you are using text, go with UPPERCASE
- A maximum of 5 colors is suggested

- Utah TSA reserves the right to make small alterations to the winning design to make it more conducive for the pin creation process.
