Each TSA Competition has its own requirements on how many students can compete. First you must see if it is an Individual or Team competition. Unless otherwise stated in the contest rule packet, team competitions MUST have a minimum of two students on the team.
The other thing to check for is how many entries are allowed per competition. Utah TSA sets its own entry limits for our state conference. Check the spreadsheet below under the Max Entries Per Chapter-Utah column to see how many are allowed for each contest.
Students who place 1st at the state conference have earned the right to represent Utah at the National TSA Conference in June. Entry limits for nationals are set by National TSA and can be found in each competition rule packet. You can also check the spreadsheet below in the Max Entries Per Chapter – Nationals. One thing to note is that there are some contests designated as State Controlled. This means we are limited as a state, instead of per chapter, on how many entries we can have in that contest.
